Community Hope Project

Logo

Our community centre, based in the heart of Anfield, Liverpool (One of the most deprived places in the whole of Europe) was launched this year (2024), in response to the outcry from local citizens, for a community space providing support and advice.

As a sort of one-stop-shop, we aim to work with people through various needs, linking them to other projects, partner agencies or statutory services when necessary.  People seeking support can drop in Monday - Wednesday or call for an appointment.

Through our support services we offer access to education, training, Digital Inclusion and IT workshops, cooking on a budget classes, employment training and support, counselling, trips out, community pool tournaments, film mornings, summer holiday school lunch provision and much more. Since we opened our doors to the local community, locals feel they finally have a place to receive proper support and advice when they need it, as well as the feeling of greater community cohesion.

Our Community space is quite versatile, which allows us to host a range of activities including:

Coffee Mornings:

Monday & Friday - 10am - 12noon

A safe, welcoming place to drop in, grab a cuppa and have a chat with other locals, staff, volunteers and friends. With weekly games and activities, feel free to swing by!

Parent toddler group:

Tuesday & Thursday - 11am -12.30

Our group offers a safe place for local parents to come together, access support, make friends and encourage their children to learn and grow.
